Frequently Asked Questions
Are children invited to the wedding?
We love your little ones, but to ensure an intimate atmosphere, we kindly ask that our wedding be an adults-only event. Thank you for your understanding, and we can’t wait to celebrate with you!
What is the dress code?
Welcome Party: Charleston Casual. What does that mean? We invite you to embrace the charm of Charleston with a smart yet relaxed style. Think elegant and comfortable!
For ladies, festive dresses and skirts. For gentlemen, collared shirts and a nice pair of slacks.
Wedding Ceremony: Black tie optional. Guests are invited to wear formal attire. For ladies: Long gowns, cocktail dresses, or elegant separates are perfect. For gentlemen: tuxedos or dark suits with a tie.
Can I bring a date?
We’re thrilled to have you join us! If your invitation indicates a plus-one, feel free to bring a date. If not, we kindly ask that you attend solo. Thank you for understanding, and we can't wait to celebrate!
Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?
Our welcome party will be taking place outdoors, as well as our ceremony and cocktail hour. The dinner reception and dancing will be held under a festive tent and we will be on the water (with a slight breeze), but please prepare for the Lowcountry humidity. Welcome to Charleston!
Is parking available at the venues?
There is parking available at The Pavilion. We will also be offering a shuttle from one of our hotel blocks. If you plan to drink, please take advantage of the shuttle or the area’s Uber/Lyft system. We do not condone drinking and driving of any kind, so please don’t.
The welcome party’s venue, 62 Broad, only has street parking which is first come, first served. So please Uber if possible! That area has very strict street parking rules!
Where do I RSVP?
You can reply online right on this website! Please answer all of the questions by the date specified so we can be sure to accommodate for everyone attending! :)
Will there be golfing available at the venue?
Yes and no! Our wedding is located off the 18th hole of Patriots Point Links, so bring your clubs and set up a tee time for Saturday morning! (Golfers are responsible for covering the cost of their own round of golf.)
